Fire Fox-3 Beta – Support for Telugu language

ఈ రోజే కొత్త FireFox-3 Beta version ని download చేసుకుని testing మొదలు పెట్టాను. ఇంకా అన్ని features ని పరిశీలించనప్పటికీ, ముఖ్యమైన తేడా, నాకు నచ్చినది ఏమిటంటే, కొత్త వెర్షన్ లో తెలుగు భాషని కూడా చక్కగా చదవవచ్చు. ఇంతకు ముందు అన్ని site లకు ForeFox-2 వాడుతున్నప్పటికీ, తెలుగు సైట్ లకు మటుకు IE ని వాడవలసి వచ్చేది.  తేడా ని మీరు కింద చూడవచ్చు.  మీరు రెండు version లను కావాలంటే install చేసుకోవచ్చు. మీరు ఇప్పటికే FireFox 2 ని వాడుతూవుండి, దానిలో చాలా Add-ons కనుక వుంటే, FireFox 3 beta మొదటకొంచెం trouble ఇస్తుంది. ఎన్నిAddons వుంటే అన్ని సార్లు మీరు proxy యొక్క user id/ password ఇవ్వవలసి వుంటుంది. ఈ issu, FireFox 3 final version లో పోవచ్చు.

In one way… I am Feeling very lucky!

     It is almost 1 month since i last blogged. It has happened all of sudden. I thought i am going to enjoy my vacation and i did, but my fate is turned suddenly in final day of vacation and fell sick and hospitalized for a week. Let me tell you in more detail…

      Last month end i took one week leave from the work to enjoy with my family. I went to my native place in andhra pradesh which is almost 1000km away from bangalore. I enjoyed the almost 20hours train journey and finally reached in my native place. Enjoyed each and every second with my parents. Went on site seeing and roaming around the town. That day is a saturday and I was supposed to return back on sunday the next day evening by the same train. Suddenly in the evening at 4pm i felt like there is something abnormal in my stumock. It turned into a severe pain. I am sure it is not Appendix related pain. I know where the pain will exist in case of Appendicities. The pain is increated by night and gas is started coming out of mouth. After sometime the vomitings are started, and by next day morning i was almost lost all the energy. The doctor advised me to join in the hospital. After so many tests they are not able to make out what was wrong, but found that the pancrease is enlarged a little bit and there was not enough movement in the intestines. The doctor told this could be a side effect of other unknown problem. They kept me in the hospital for a week, Every day surviving with fluids in the form of celien bottles. Finally got discharged from the hospital without knowing what might have caused this severe pain. As per the suggestion from the doctor i was there in my home town for a month and return back last week only.

     Now if i think about the above problem i am really in a dilema whether i am luckey or unluckey. I am staying alone here in Bangalore. If that pain comes here when i was in Bangalore, i will not be able to think what might have happened to me. At that time i was at my home town and with parents so they took me to the hospital. Who is going to take care of me if i got it here? My office people or my boss or my friends or who?? That is why i told initially i am feeling luckey eventhough i suffer… There is a old saying “finding happyness in a deep sorrows” (telugu: kashtAlalO sukhAlanu vetukkOvaDaM)

పిల్లల్ని కొడితే జైలుకే! – మరి ఆ పిల్లల పరిస్థితి?

ఇప్పటి దాకా పెద్దవాళ్ళు చెడిపోయారు కనీసం పిల్ల generation అయినా బాగుంది అని సంతోషించేవాళ్ళకి ఈ వార్త నిజంగానే పెద్ద దెబ్బ. ఈరోజు eenadu news paper చూశారా? లేకపోతే ఒకసారి ఈ eenadu link మీద క్లిక్ చేయండి. మన దేశంలో పిల్లల మీద వేధింపులు తక్కువేమీ కాదు, పిల్లల్ని కొట్టని తల్లిదండృలు మన దేశం లోనే కాదు ప్రపంచంలో నే వుండరు. అలాగని కొట్టే ప్రతి తల్లి, తండ్రి ని కూడా మీరు పిల్లల్ని వేధిస్తున్నారు అంటే అది సమంజసమా? 90 శాతం మంది పిల్లల్ని దారిలో పెట్టడానికే కొడతారు, ఏదో కొద్ది శాతం మాత్రమే శాడిజం తో కొడతారు, వేధింపులకి పాల్పడతారు. నేను చిన్నప్పుడు బడికి వెళ్ళడానికి మారాం చేసే వాడిని. మా parents బలవంతంగా తన్ని మరీ పంపించేవారు. బడి ఎగ్గొట్టడానికి ఎన్నో వేషాలు… తలచుకొంటే ఇప్పటికీ నవ్వొస్తోంది. ఒకవేళ ఇలాంటి చట్టం అప్పట్లోనే వుండి వుంటే, ఇంట్లోని కొట్టేవాళ్ళు కాదు, బడిలో కూడా కొట్టేవాళ్ళు కాదు.హాయిగా సినిమాలు , షికార్లు వగైరా వగైరా… బాగా enjoy చేసి వుండే వాడిని… కదా! అలాజరిగివుంటే అప్పటిలో బాగానే వుండేది మరి ఈరోజున ఒక లోఫర్ గాడిలా రోడ్డుమీదుండేవాడినేమో కదా!. ఈచట్టానికి భయపడి తల్లిదండ్రులు పిల్లల్ని కొట్టడం మానేస్తే లేదా కొట్టి జైలుకి వెళితే ? 10 – 15 ఏళ్ళ తరువాత ఎలాంటి generation ని మనం చూడాలి? ఈ మధ్య TV లో ఒక సినిమా చూశాను, అందులో ఒకపిల్లవాడు తల్లి, తండ్రి కొట్టారని police station కి వెళ్ళి complaint ఇస్తాడు. అక్కడి police పిల్లాడిని support చేసి ఒక dialogue చెపుతాడు “పిల్లాడి ని కొట్టినందుకు మిమ్మల్ని జైలుకి పంపించవచ్చు” అని. TV లో “Shaktiman” చూసి అలాగే చెయ్యాలని చూసి కాళ్ళు, చేతులు విరగ్గొట్టుకునే పిల్లలున్న దేశం మనది. ఇక ఇలాంటి సినిమాలు చూసి inspire అయితే? పిల్లల్ని శాడిజం తో వేధించే వాళ్ళకి, over గా శిక్షించే ఉపాధ్యాయులు(ఈ మధ్య 2 – 3 సార్లు paper లో వచ్చినట్టు గుర్తు) వంటి వారికి కఠిన శిక్షలు వేయాలి అంతే గానీ అసలు పిల్లల్ని parents కూడా కొట్టగూడదంటే ఇది ఎటు పోతుందో? చూస్తుంటే రాబోయే తరాల్లో జులాయిగాళ్ళు ఎక్కువగా వుంటారనిపిస్తోంది.

Oh రామ! – what a cultured girls!

నెట్ స్నేహితులకు అందరికీ శ్రీరామ నవమి శుభాకాంక్షలు. ఈరోజు ఉదయం నిద్ర నుంచి లేసే టప్పడికే (6:30am, బ్యాచిలర్ ని కదా!) Ram Temple నుండి భక్తి పాటలు వినిపించడం మొదలయింది. ఈరోజు office వుండడం తో Temple కి వెళ్ళడం కుదరలేదు. My office starts from 8:30am to 7:15pm. 45 minutes journey to office. so i have to start at 7:00am to catch the bus. ఇప్పుడు ఇంటికి వెళ్ళగానే మొదట చెయ్యవలసిన పని, స్నానం చేసి Temple కి వెళ్ళడం. ఇన్నేళ్ళలో ఇంత లేటుగా temple కి వెళ్ళడం ఇదే మొదటిసారి. ఈసారి వీధి లోనే కాదు office లో కూడా పండగ వాతావరణం లేదు, ఎందుకనో? Atleast i expected a festival atmosphere from the female colleagues. పండగ అంటీ అందరూ తలారా స్నానం చేసి, అందమైన చీర కట్టుకుని, తలనిండా పూల తో వస్తారని అనుకున్నాను. ఊహు… అంత సేన్ లేదని అర్థం అయ్యింది. ఓక్క దాని మొహం మీద బొట్టు కూడా లేదు (fashion అని తెలుసు కానీ పండగ రోజు కూడానా!) పైగా tip top గా modern dress ఒకటి. అంతే ఇప్పుడు ఆడవాళ్ళు కూడా దేవుడిని మరచి పోయినట్టున్నారు! అంతే ఎవరికైనా valentain డే లు గట్రా గుర్తుంటాయి గాని పండగ లు ఎలా గుర్తుంటాయి? ఓ రామ్, please save my country and my culture!

Come [ON / BACK] India

As expected india lost her match against srilanka yesterday and prepared to return back. One way our players are fullfilling our dream. They have taken our “Comeon INDIA” slogan as “Come back INDIA”. So, be prepared to welcome our heroes. నిజం చెప్పాలంటే india match జరుగుతున్నప్పుడు మధ్యలొ “comeon india” advertizements/slogans చాలా funny గా అనిపించాయి. అందులో మన heroes ని పులులు గా చూపించడం…. I think its not fare to pray for the defeat of Banglans against Bermuda in todays match. Atleast as a cricker “game” lover i am not going to do that. I feel the banglans atleast have the will to win. As Kapil Dev told, banglans have the right to reach super 8. మన వాళ్ళకి advertisement industry మత్రమే రైట్.
Note: మన team మళ్ళీ ఏదైనా Bermuda లాంటి జట్టు పై గెలిస్తే, every thing sets right. The same people will praise them, people will forget the defeat in worldcup.
TIP: So, india వచ్చిన తరువాత మన team చెయ్యవలసిన మొదటి పని ఏదైనా “Bermuda” లాంటి team తో tournment కి plan చెయ్యడం. ఎలాగూ గెలిచే chance ఉంది కాబట్టి మన అభిమానులు కూడా world cup సంగతి మర్చి పోతారు.
