As everybody these days, i am also  into the share market business since one year using HDFCSec trading platform. When i opened the 3-in-1 account with HDFC, it was just supporting trading in NSE, nothing else. Now it supports most of the things except Mutual Fund trading. The interface of this trading system was not so elegant and the software used was php for information and JSP for trading. Now seems to be like they are in the process of changing their user interface and the software also. The new platform using .NET it seems and the interface is looking good. The main page looks similar to Reliance’s money trading site. The charting is better than old charts. Seems like both version (php/.NET) of the trading platform are available, and defaultly it will goto php version of the site. You can access this site at http://hdfcsec.com/Investor.aspx

 Update: As of now only information related to market is available in the new version and the trading is still refering old site.

A good messaged picture i saw after a long time, worth to follow by all men… A man is a man, only if he behaves with humanity, beating up a women (or anybody weak)  is not prove you are manlier.

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and hollywood actor Richard Gere are on the front page of almost all Indian national newspapers on yesterday and today too. Many people may have different opinion on it. No body supports such activity but the response coming out is totally meaningless i feel. When Shilpa embraced on BigBrother show everybody acted like she was representing India and supported her even though she went only to make money. Due to unanticipated events she got international fame more than that indians started thinking that she is the true represent of indian culture . She has kissed many in the movies and in the open shows (of course just a single kiss on the cheek). Richard Gare as a foreign origin he is naturally do kissing, infact he kissed some indian actresses before also. But no body opposed at that time because those actress are not famous? All people/newspapers are crying that this incident has spoiled the Indian culture. Let me tell you one thing, Indian Culture is not the property of filmy girls, they just work for money. Their acts should never represent Indian Culture. Our culture is existed only in villages, with uneducated people and a small group of educated people who struggling to adopt western culture. We can see and enjoy Shilpa in a bra and bikini or kissing a filmi hero in a movie but not ready to see her kissing a foreigner in a open show. Kissing in open is almost like kissing in a movie. Whats the difference? If Gary kisses her against her will then you can protest it. It has happend just according to the script i feel. You can see her in the news videos enjoying the kiss, but there is no shock in the face. If you think this is wrong then we should ban all our hindi and telugu or total indian movies. How many people will agree for this? What i wanted to tell you is, we already half crossed the bridge and moving towards western culture. “The Bigin” has happened loooong back and there is no look back…

Just a last word: In my company we have one open air theater called “Amphy Theater” which we use for gathering and dances etc., at least once per month. All this kind of foreign stuff is common here. This is a corporate culture…

 

Google seams to be in the continues process of updating their user interface for search results. Some time back they changed the UI of image search (later reverted back) now its time for web search. The search results page in Indian locale is looking again some thing different today. But these changes are not available in other locals of Google. They moved the type of search options to the left hand side. Even though this looks good for appearance, it is unnecessarily blocking left margin till the end of the page. I checked for .com and .uk versions but this new look is only available in “http://www.google.co.in” as of now and for only web search. The image search and other are same as before. But why they applied this look change only to web search and not for the remaining  search types in indian version?

ఇప్పటి దాకా పెద్దవాళ్ళు చెడిపోయారు కనీసం పిల్ల generation అయినా బాగుంది అని సంతోషించేవాళ్ళకి ఈ వార్త నిజంగానే పెద్ద దెబ్బ. ఈరోజు eenadu news paper చూశారా? లేకపోతే ఒకసారి ఈ eenadu link మీద క్లిక్ చేయండి. మన దేశంలో పిల్లల మీద వేధింపులు తక్కువేమీ కాదు, పిల్లల్ని కొట్టని తల్లిదండృలు మన దేశం లోనే కాదు ప్రపంచంలో నే వుండరు. అలాగని కొట్టే ప్రతి తల్లి, తండ్రి ని కూడా మీరు పిల్లల్ని వేధిస్తున్నారు అంటే అది సమంజసమా? 90 శాతం మంది పిల్లల్ని దారిలో పెట్టడానికే కొడతారు, ఏదో కొద్ది శాతం మాత్రమే శాడిజం తో కొడతారు, వేధింపులకి పాల్పడతారు. నేను చిన్నప్పుడు బడికి వెళ్ళడానికి మారాం చేసే వాడిని. మా parents బలవంతంగా తన్ని మరీ పంపించేవారు. బడి ఎగ్గొట్టడానికి ఎన్నో వేషాలు… తలచుకొంటే ఇప్పటికీ నవ్వొస్తోంది. ఒకవేళ ఇలాంటి చట్టం అప్పట్లోనే వుండి వుంటే, ఇంట్లోని కొట్టేవాళ్ళు కాదు, బడిలో కూడా కొట్టేవాళ్ళు కాదు.హాయిగా సినిమాలు , షికార్లు వగైరా వగైరా… బాగా enjoy చేసి వుండే వాడిని… కదా! అలాజరిగివుంటే అప్పటిలో బాగానే వుండేది మరి ఈరోజున ఒక లోఫర్ గాడిలా రోడ్డుమీదుండేవాడినేమో కదా!. ఈచట్టానికి భయపడి తల్లిదండ్రులు పిల్లల్ని కొట్టడం మానేస్తే లేదా కొట్టి జైలుకి వెళితే ? 10 – 15 ఏళ్ళ తరువాత ఎలాంటి generation ని మనం చూడాలి? ఈ మధ్య TV లో ఒక సినిమా చూశాను, అందులో ఒకపిల్లవాడు తల్లి, తండ్రి కొట్టారని police station కి వెళ్ళి complaint ఇస్తాడు. అక్కడి police పిల్లాడిని support చేసి ఒక dialogue చెపుతాడు “పిల్లాడి ని కొట్టినందుకు మిమ్మల్ని జైలుకి పంపించవచ్చు” అని. TV లో “Shaktiman” చూసి అలాగే చెయ్యాలని చూసి కాళ్ళు, చేతులు విరగ్గొట్టుకునే పిల్లలున్న దేశం మనది. ఇక ఇలాంటి సినిమాలు చూసి inspire అయితే? పిల్లల్ని శాడిజం తో వేధించే వాళ్ళకి, over గా శిక్షించే ఉపాధ్యాయులు(ఈ మధ్య 2 – 3 సార్లు paper లో వచ్చినట్టు గుర్తు) వంటి వారికి కఠిన శిక్షలు వేయాలి అంతే గానీ అసలు పిల్లల్ని parents కూడా కొట్టగూడదంటే ఇది ఎటు పోతుందో? చూస్తుంటే రాబోయే తరాల్లో జులాయిగాళ్ళు ఎక్కువగా వుంటారనిపిస్తోంది.

                WordPress seems having some issue while commenting to other blogs and updating the options of your own blog. This weird behaviour i observed today while commenting on Seejay’s blog. Some time back i saw seejay’s blog and trying to post a comment after logging into my account. As i already logged in, it shown me only the message box while replying to that post. You should provide the name, email, website, message (website is optional) only if you are not logged in to wordpress. Obviously anybody expect their blogsite to be displayed/linked while replying to the posts. It didn’t happend in this case. You can see the screen shot below. Probaly the first reply in this image is posted without logging in, the second reply of mine is posted after loggin-in. Is this an issue??? I think i have to do log-out while replying to posts, So silly :( .

                     Few days back i was trying to save some of my settings in Options tab. First time it is saving properly, but from second time (URL: updated=true) onwards then updates are not reflecting properly. Sometimes you can see the message “Options saved” message, but the changes won’t shown in the screen. Sometimes eventhough it is showing pre updated data initially, after some time if you refresh then it will show updated data. So strange… I don’t whether i am only facing this issue…

	My First Rounded Border
	Round Cornered borders (like this post’s border) is always looks nicer and it is a first choice to not only me but also many web designers. We can use round corners in two ways. one is using tables which is a old fashioned, and another approach is using style sheets (CSS). I wanted to use CSS for this post but wordpress has restricted the use of certain style tags. If some body wanted to use external CSS they should pay a little amount to wordpress. At present i am not interested to upgrade my account as i am not that much proficient in CSS. So i decided to go ahead with tables and images. Using CSS it is possible to create a round cornered table without using a single image. These are the images used to build this table: Top Left, Top Right, Top Middle and a Transparent Spacer. All these images are made as transparent so that they can give same round effect irrespective of the page background color. Using style sheet languag, we can separate the layout format with actual text. So if you are proficient in CSS and want to use style sheets then go ahead and upgrade your account by paying little amount to wordpress. I created these images using Paint.NET and it is my first test on image creation. There are some other round types are applied to other pages of my blog. But those images are grabbed from internet.

First wicket is down after the world cup mishap. The victim is indian cricket team coach, Greg Chappel. He resigned to coach post due to his comments against “seniors mafia” in indian cricket. Yesterday Sachin Tendulkar raised his voice against his comments. Good… but why Sachin only responding to this comments? Is it because he is the lead of so called “Seniors Mafia”?
We should accept the fact that, Chappel has done some good things to indian cricket. Before Chappel, our team’s star players are stick to their positions and not ready to play in other positions. Chappel changed this habit and forced them to play in any position. Before Chappel we are not aware that the last down batsmen also can bat well, we came to know this only after chappels experiments. Best point is, any player would be dropped if he is not 100% fit, remember the example of Ganguly. I completely agree with coach’s comments against the seniors. Most of the players are playing for more than minimum a 6 years to 10 years for indian cricket. Most of them are continuing in indian cricket with the help of their god fathers (selectors?) even though they are not scoring. Where is the chance to the fresh talented youngsters? How many youngsters got chance to play for india in the last 10 years? They are not surviving because of the so called “seniors mafia” in our cricket? I strongly believe that Greg is correct and action should be taken against seniors. Always our selectors are telling that, they are lacking of fresh talented people in india. Seems like this is also wrong statement. Why the seniors allow them to select a new talented guy?
Most of them in our country are player lovers rather than game lovers. The senior (non fitted) guys make a single century for one year… thats it, these bloody player lovers will praise them like any thing… Just see, Sehwag made a century 15 days back (against Bermuda), these bloody supporters won’t expect another century from him till another year. If you are a serious cricket lover (not player lover), then you should not encourage these kind of things and you should agree with Chappel.
BTW is there any relation between this “Seniors Mafia” and the D-Mafia ! Rumor has it that Chappel is going to write a book on his experiences, so letz wait for it (If this is true, Hope the Bookie mafia will keep him alive till that time, don’t forget Bob woolmer case)

  I personally saw in some cases and heard a lot of similar cases where a patient is struggling for life due to the shortage of same group blood. In many cases the blood banks or hospitals might have other group of blood except the one you needed. For that you will end up searching a lot for the same blood group. I regularly gets emails from my internal emailing system of my company, requesting employees for the required blood group. My company is having around 10000+ employees in bangalore (india), so some body with kind heart would donate the blood if it suits. In many cases it won’t happen because of below reasons.
* The person is not ready to donate.
* The person might have already donated in the last 2 months
* The same blood group is not available.
  According to “newscientist” the last scenario may not occur in future. The scientists in University of Copenhagen in Denmark found a way to convert the blood groups to a universal blood group “O”. As we know that “O” group would suite to everybody irrespective of our own blood group. Very interesting innovation, i think these guys certainly deserve for a “nobel” kind of prize.

Yesterday while watching IBN news channel, the news flashed regarding the controversial OBC quota in educational institutes, that the Hnbl. Supreme Court has given stay on the quota bill. Seems to be a good news to the nation particularly for Talented. I personally feel that the purpose of reservations is already achieved and necessity of the same on “cast basis” is totally wrong in these days. I think Mr. Arjun Singh has done a blunder in this regard [dirty politicians]. He might have wanted to gain some political advantage from this. I doubt how far he is going benefit from this decision.
    If experts think that the reservations are compulsory for this country, then i support “Reservations on economic basis”. It doesn’t mean that unqualified, incapable and untalented people should be taken into account. The govt should give reduction to a certain percentage of expenses like fees/hostel/maintenance. Even though the hbl. SCs rule seems to be intermediate, lets see what happens in the final verdict.
